A great snapshot of Derek Jeter warming up on the field at the original Yankee Stadium. Taken in the 2000s, Jeter casually looks at the photographer who has stationed himself in the box seats behind home plate. Jeter proved to be the spark behind five Yankees World Championships and would retire owning the franchise records for all-time career hits, doubles, games played, plate appearances, at bats, stolen bases, and times on base. Type 1 photos of Jeter are quite rare due to most photographers had switched to digital cameras, and any prints made from those files are graded as Type III. The photo has been printed to the edges and shows some surface scuffs. The reverse of the photo has the Kodak paper hallmarks and printed code markings. The photograph measures 4” x 6” and has been encapsulated and graded a Type 1 by PSA.
