Here than is a Hall of Fame jersey from a pitcher who had arguably the greatest four-year run in MLB history: Randy Johnson's first four years as the ace of the Arizona Diamondbacks when he won the Cy Young Award four years in a row. This jersey if from the second year of that unprecedented four-year run, a 19-7 campaign and a total of 364 strikeouts. The lefthander who ended up in second place on the all-time list for strikeouts actually averaged better than 354 strikeouts per season over that incomprehensible stretch. With that kind of historical street cred it's easy to like this enormous Size 52 black alternate shirt, complete with Rawlings tagging on the front left tail, along with attached smaller tags of "Set 1 2000," the Size 52 notation and a third with "3 inch Extra Length," a nod to the 6-11 Johnson. The shirt shows good game use and is in breathtaking condition, with the MLB logo patch on the back of the collar and the unique Diamondbacks logo patch on the left sleeve above the embroidered Rawlings "R." There is hardly a whisper of fraying anywhere and the delicate gold sparkled stitching on the "A" logo on the front and on the shoulder patch is completely unmolested. Johnson has added a black Sharpie autograph atop the "5" of his No. 51 on the back.

Includes a Letter of Provenance from The Newport Sports Museum.

Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
