Before he was an All-Star second baseman for the Phillies, Chase Utley was working his infield magic as a member of the UCLA Bruins, earning a boatload of All Pac-10 Conference and All-America awards in a three-year collegiate career. This wonderful jersey is from his junior year, his final season at UCLA before the Phillies would snap him up in the first round (15th overall) in the 2000 MLB Draft. The Size 44 jersey has the appropriate Adidas tagging on the front left tail; Utley has added a black Sharpie autograph to the front right of the jersey beneath the "UCLA" script. An embroidered "42" Jackie Robinson commemorative patch appears on the right sleeve; the blue-stitched Russell Athletic logo appears on the opposite sleeve. The shirt shows excellent game use, with some light fraying of the blue, white and gold stitching around the script "UCLA" on the front, but is otherwise problem free.

Includes a Letter of Provenance from The Newport Sports Museum.

Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
