In 1999, Mark McGwire added 65 round-trippers to his record-setting 70 in 1998 for an outrageous two-year sum of 135. "Big Mac" sported this road gray jersey in '99. The Cardinals bat and birds logo is attractively chain-stitched on the front above McGwire's No. “25” in red-on-navy tackle twill. Inside the right front tail is the Rawlings tagging with additional size “52” and “SET 1 1999” labels. The back has “McGWIRE” and “25” again in red-on-navy tackle twill. This button-down shirt has a straight cut hem, typical of McGwire gamers from that period. It shows light to moderate wear and comes all-original. Part of the famed Delbert Mickel estate, this jersey is yet another prime example of the extraordinary game-used collection from the late Mr. Delbert Mickel.
