This unused OAL (Budig) ball has been signed by twenty-nine members of the 1998 World Championship New York Yankees team. The 1998 Yankees, arguably the greatest team of the modern era, enjoyed a four-game sweep against the San Diego Padres to win their 24th World Series. Scriptings have been placed in blue ballpoint and project "8-9" strength and clarity. Included in the list of familiar names are Derek Jeter, Mariano Rivera, Joe Girardi, David Wells, Joe Torre, Bernie Williams and many more. The ball displays slight toning and minor foxing.
