It has gone down as “The Last Shot.” The event was Game 6 of the 1998 NBA Finals. With less than 9 seconds on the clock and Utah ahead 86-85, it looked like there would be a decisive Game 7. Suddenly, Michael Jordan came alive, dribbling the ball down court before skillfully outmaneuvering Bryon Russell and sinking a 2-pointer to give the Bulls the lead, game and third consecutive championship. This great action shot by Stephen Green is a preview of that famous moment in NBA history. The Jordan-Russell matchup depicted in this photo was taken at an earlier moment during the NBA Championship Series and shows the determined rivalry between the two stars. The image has been printed to the edges of the paper and shows strong color. The reverse has the Kodak paper hallmarks and a “01-02-06” date stamp present. The photograph measures 8 x 10” and has been encapsulated and graded a Type 1 by PSA/DNA.
