The New York Yankees began their run of four World Series titles in five seasons in 1996 with a star-studded roster that included Hall of Famers Wade Boggs, Tim Raines, newly elected Mariano Rivera, rookie phenom Derek Jeter, Andy Pettitte, Bernie Williams, Paul O'Neil, Tino Martinez, Joe Girardi, Dwight Gooden, Jim Leyritz, Mariano Duncan, Charlie Hayes, Jimmy Key, Kenny Rogers, David Cone and John Wettleland to name a few. Each of the aforementioned have signed this 1996 Yankees professional model team issued batting helmet in shiny silver marker averaging 9/10 in strength.

We count a total of 27 autographs highlighted by a nearly perfect 9.5/10 rookie signature from Jeter just to the left of the "NY" logo on the forehead. Hall of Fame skipper Joe Torre, who has also signed it, on the right side of the brim. Rivera's autograph is directly on top of the shell. Closer and '96 World Series MVP Wetteland has added inscriptions, "PS 9:10" and "W.S. M.V.P. '96" below his name. The Bronx Bombers defeated the Atlanta Braves in  a classic six game series in the Fall Classic. The size 7 3/8 helmet has the appropriate American Baseball Cap manufacturer and date tagging inside the roof and showing no apparent game use. Only one of the names (not significant) has smudged, making this quite a spectacle to honor a memorable Yanks championship club.

Autographs pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
