Nice pairing of items from the 1996 Atlanta Summer Olympic Games. First is a Fourth Place Winner's Diploma for Artistic Gymnastics - Women's Vault. It was awarded to Rozalia Galiyeva of Russia who also won a silver medal for her country at the '96 Games in the team event. She won a gold medal at the 1992 Barcelona Games for the Unified Team (as USSR was called at those Olympics)in the team event as well. The 8.5" by 12" certificate comes on thick paper stock with the 100 Centennial Olympic Games emblem at the top and the recipient's place (in red print at center, also in French) and her name (in green print) below. The certificate has a slight bend in the middle that has not creased (just needs to be flattened). Comes enclosed inside its original green presentation folder (also slightly bent, but not creased).

This award is accompanied by a 1996 Atlanta Summer Olympics participation medal (awarded to a different athlete). The bronze medal is designed by Malcom Gear and minted by Reed & Barton. 60 mm diameter; 3 mm thick; 60 grams. Obverse has Atlanta Games emblem under raised “Games of the XXVI Olympiad”; reverse has quilt of leaves with raised “Centennial Olympic Games.” Presents essentially Mint. Comes in original velvet pouch and green presentation box.
