Hall of Famer
Reggie Miller played his entire 18-year career with the Indiana Pacers
and still regarded by many (mostly Steph Curry haters) as the greatest shooter ever. His three-point
marksmanship, especially in pressure situations, was unparalleled in
his heyday. It was the New York Knicks and Spike Lee who seemed to bring
out Reggie's best and inspire “Miller Time.” A five-time All-Star
selection and member of the elite 50-40-90 club, Miller retired in 2005
holding the NBA record for most career 3-point field goals (now second to Ray Allen).
This lot features Miller’s 1996-97 Indiana Pacers game-worn and dual-signed Nike Air Money Shoes, a season in which he averaged 21.6 points per game and shot 42.7% from deep (2nd highest of career). The white leather, size 13 shoes are properly tagged and read “NIKE AIR” across the front in blue suede outlined in black that runs the length of both shoes. The iconic Nike swoosh appear in like fashion at the tip of both tongues. The original white laces remain intact and the shoes exhibit obvious wear throughout. Miller has signed both shoes “Reggie #31” and personalized both signatures “To Kelsi.”
Includes LOA from former NBA player Coby Karl, son of longtime SuperSonics coach George Karl. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA (autograph).
