Offered here is a 1996-97 Jason Kidd game worn Dallas Mavericks home jersey from the NBA's 50th Anniversary season, Kidd's third in the NBA. The jersey dons two Kidd autographs, one on the lower front in faded black marker and one on the rear "5" jersey number in silver marker. A gold 50th Anniversary NBA Patch is present on the left shoulder. The size 46 Champion jersey has a Dallas Mavericks '96-'97 jock tag on the lower front tail.
The jersey exhibits adequate game use and was worn near the beginning of the '96-'97 NBA season as Kidd was traded to Phoenix before Christmas. It was with the Suns that Kidd's career really took off and he became one of the NBA's all-time great point guards. An iconic jersey from a superstar Hall of Famer and who now serves as head coach of the Mavs. Autographs both certified by Beckett. Comes with a letter from the Dallas Mavericks Strength and Conditioning coach who states that Kidd wore this jersey in November 1996.
