For the Chicago Bulls and Michael Jordan, the 1995-96 NBA season was a journey into unexplored territory. Rising to previously unknown levels of excellence, the Bulls went 72-10 in the regular season and cruised through the playoffs to win the NBA title. Jordan, back from his baseball vacation, was named MVP and proclaimed the greatest player in history. This Chicago Bulls championship ring was awarded to the team equipment manager and is identical in all respects to the player rings. It is a Josten 14K ring, size 10 to 10 1/2, set with a total of 76 diamonds. Four large diamonds on the top of the ring signify the 4 World Championships, while the 72 smaller diamonds around the perimeter indicate the record setting number of wins during the 1995-96 regular season. One shank of the ring is inscribed “World Champions - 72 Wins Greatest - Team Ever “ and the other bears the team logo and reads “Lee - Bulls 95-96 - Equip”. A gorgeous ring in Near Mint condition from the greatest season in NBA history. Includes an elaborate original presentation box.
