Eric Riley was a journeyman, seven-foot center who played five seasons in the NBA with five different teams. But lo and behold, one of those teams was an NBA Champion the season in which he played for it: the 1994 Houston Rockets. Competing in 47 games that season as a 23-year-old rookie, Riley scored 88 points and pulled down 59 boards.

This lot features Riley's 1994 Houston Rockets NBA World Championship 14K Gold ring. The top of the ring is adorned with the Rockets logo in gold and red enamel which sits atop a field of real diamonds surrounded by "1994 World Champions" in raised lettering. One shank reads "RILEY" above the NBA World Championship trophy set against a raised image of the Houston skyline and "42" (Riley's number) below. The other shank has "Clutch City", "58-24", and a red-and-blue enamel NBA logo. "Intergold 14K" is stamped on the inside of the band. Ring size: 11.5. The ring is 100% original and unaltered and only shows light wear from Riley wearing it occasionally. A beautiful memento from a memorable season for the Houston Rockets, the team's first ever NBA title. Includes LOA from jeweler who bought it directly from Riley in 2016.
