Presented is a pair of Nike Air Jordan VI 'Raptor' sneakers issued to Michael Jordan for the 1992 NBA Playoffs. Jordan was known to don black-colored sneakers during his playoff runs and the Jordan VIs were certainly a go-to option for his 1992 playoff campaign. The Bulls would go on to beat the Portland Trailblazers in the '92 NBA Finals, their first back-to-back titles in franchise history (ultimately leading to the three-peat).
The size 13 tagging on the inside of each shoe shows a manufacturing year of 1991, denoting that these shoes were most likely one of the first orders of the Raptors colorways for the 'Air Jordan' VIs. Jordan autographed the medial side of the right shoe in silver permanent marker for nice appeal on the black shoes. The autograph has been certified by Beckett Authentication Services.
The pair of shoes are accompanied by a Letter of Provenance from a former Bulls employee as well as a full LOA from Sports Investors Authentication.
