Recently discovered 1992 Croatia National Team autographed Official Barcelona Olympic Games basketball including 14 signatures total. The Molten Official basketball remains in excellent condition and includes Hall of Fame autographs from Drazen Petrovic and Tony Kucoc. Other notable autographs include Arijan Komazex, Velimir Perasovic, Alan Gregov, and Stojko Vrankovic. Croatia's National Team was the runner-up in the 1992 Olympic Basketball Games to the famous USA 'Dream Team' who was the clear favorite in the tournament. Croatia put up a fight but was ultimately defeated 117-85. Thie 1992 Olympic Games also marked the first time that Croatia would participate as an independent nation since its separation from Yugoslavia. They briefly led the Dream Team 25-23 in the first half.
The basketball could have very well been used in a tournament game during the 1992 Olympic games but that can neither be confirmed or denied. Drazen Petrovic unfortunately passed away in a car crash in 1993, making his autograph extremely difficult to find.
The autographs have been certified by PSA/DNA and are accompanied by a full LOA.
