Two full tickets from the 1989 World Series Game 1 played in "Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum" (A's 5, Giants 0), Game 3 in San Francisco "Candlestick Park" (Giants 7, A's 13). The series named "Battle of the Bay" with the A's outscoring the Giants 10-1 in the first two games behind superb starting pitching. The Giants needed to get back in the series in game 3 however a half hour before the start of the game a magnitude 6.9 earthquake "Loma Prieta" rocked the Bay area. The earthquake caused 6 billion dollars worth of damage to Oakland and San Francisco with the upper deck of "Candlestick Park" included in the damage. Game 3 was postponed for ten days in the aftermath of the earth quake. MLB considered moving the game to a different city however with great efforts of first responders and the Bay area community, Game 3 was played on Oct 27 in "Candlestick Park". Both tickets encapsulated and graded by PSA, Game 1 MINT 9 (none higher), Game 3 EX-MT 6.
