The 1980's saw a number of incredible hitters for the period and arguably one of the best was George Brett of the Kansas City Royals. His intense, fiery personality certainly translated on the field. We bring to you a game-used bat from 1989 in which Brett used in during that season. Per PSA "This Louisville Slugger model C271 is uncracked and exhibits evidence of excellent use with slight checking (grain swelling) on the right and back of the barrel from repeated ball contact" The natural ash bat is 33.5 inches long and weights 31 ounces. Provenance is excellent provided by long time A's announcer Monte Moore whom the bat was directly given to from Brett.
