Offered here is a signed Baltimore Orioles game-worn road jersey worn by Hall of Famer Cal Ripken in the middle of his fabled career. This gray, button-down garment bears "Orioles" angled across the chest (in cursive) in black and orange tackle twill and Ripken's No. 8 applied below and to the back in like fashion. The right sleeve features the "Rawlings" cursive logo embroidery. A "Rawlings" Size "48" manufacturer's tag is situated upon inside of the left front tail, along with adjacent tags of "T," and "Set 1 1989," plus the small "2 inch Extra Length" flag tag at the bottom of the Rawlings tag. Ripken's distinctive black-marker signature graces the back of the shirt alongside his No. 8. There is almost no fraying of any of the black or orange stitching on the tackle twill elements; the item reveals evidence of light wear and shows no signs of repair or alteration.
