Alvin Robertson was a journeyman NBA shooting guard who played for four different teams during the course of his 11-year NBA career. For nearly four of those seasons, Robertson played for the Milwaukee Bucks where he averaged 12.2 points per outing. The 6-foot-3, 180-pounder wore this attractive multi-green jersey during the 1989-90 season with the Milwaukee Bucks, his first year in Wisconsin after five seasons competing for the San Antonio Spurs.

The offered green game worn Milwaukee Bucks jersey includes “MacGregor Sand-Knit [size] 44,” “88” and “2 LB” tagging on the front left tail which means the jersey was originally manufactured for the season before his arrival. The jersey front reads “BUCKS” and “21” screen printed in white outlined in light green. The back of the jersey has “ROBERTSON” arched across the upper back in white print screened on a dark green nameplate and his uniform number “ 21” in white outlined in light green. The jersey’s sides have alternating green, dark green with lighter green and white horizontal stripes; the same tri-green and white format is used on the knitted yokes and collar and the iconic NBA red, white and blue embroidered logo is on the front left shoulder. Robertson signed the front “2” although the signature is barely legible. The jersey exhibits moderate game use and remains in superb condition. The '88 tagging indicates it was a carry-over as Robertson came over from the Spurs at the end of the 1988-89 season.
