Towering 6' 6" uber athlete Dave Winfield won six Silver Sluggers and seven Gold Gloves in his 22 outstanding big-league seasons that included nine in the Bronx. The 2001 Hall of Fame inductee wore this splendid Yankees home jersey during the 1987 season in which he put up respectable .275-27-97 All-Star numbers and got himself another Gold Glove in right field. The white knit button-down garment features the classic navy pinstriped pattern, the famed "NY" logo sewn to the left breast and Winfield's number "31" on the back in navy tackle twill. On the left front tail is Wilson manufacturer's tagging with a size 44 flag tag, and there is a white strip tag in the collar with "WINFIELD 87 1" chain-stitched, denoting year and set. Winfield has signed the jersey back in black marker. The shirt shows moderate and consistent wear throughout and comes in all-original condition. Includes LOA from MEARS with perfect A10 grade. Winfield’s autograph has been pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
