In the same year as Jordan’s iconic Fleer rookie card, Star Co. released a less-produced series of cards including this beautiful Michael Jordan rookie. Titled “Best of the New”, Star Co. definitely chose correctly as to which player to feature on their card. The 1986 Star Co. “Best of the New” is graded a MT 9 by Beckett Grading Services. Grading breakdowns are as follows: Centering 9, Corners 9, Edges 9.5, & Surface 9.5. An excellent example from a rare edition Michael Jordan rookie card.
