Easily the most memorable and historic moment in soccer history is commemorated with this ticket stub from the 1986 World Cup Quarterfinal between England and Argentina in which Diego Maradona scored the "Hand of God" goal to set the tone of the match. His goal, which was scored with his hand was out of the referee's view and the first goal of the match would spark the rest of the Argentinian players and fans in the stands, pushing them to an eventual 2-1 victory that would catapult the squad to an eventual first world cup victory as a nation.
The ticket stub offered here has been graded PSA FR 1.5 but just like every other stub offered in this sale, PSA seems to have missed the mark. A really clean and colorful rendering and only some slight fraying on the perforated edge give any cause for concern here. In our opnion, this stub should easily have been awarded a VG or better but for some reason these stubs have all been graded with an insane dose of scrutiny for reasons that are unknown to us.
