The 1985 NBA saw the Los Angeles Lakers capture the NBA crown, beating the rival Boston Celtics in six games in the Finals. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar was NBA Finals MVP. The Lakers had an impressive 62-20 regular season mark and then handled their business in the playoffs.

Presented here is a classic Wilson NBA basketball with the Commissioner Lawrence O’Brien (Yes, “LOB” himself!) imprint. There are two soft white panels perfectly designed to hold the (11) vintage blue ballpoint signatures. The autographs are all quite legible and pleasing to the eye, rating a 6-8/10 only due to some very minimal fading due to age.

The autographs include the famed starting five of Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (HOF), James Worthy (HOF), Kurt Rambis, Magic Johnson (HOF) and Byron Scott.

Other Lakers inking the ball include Bob McAdoo (HOF), Mike McGee, Michael Cooper, Larry Spriggs, Mitchell Kupchak, Ronnie Lester and legendary Assistant Coach Bill Bertka.

This Lakers treasure has a Beckett LOA.
