Major League Baseball’s great “Iron Man,” Cal Ripken Jr., set the MLB record by playing in 2,632 consecutive games during his impressive 21-year career, all with the Baltimore Orioles. A two-time American League MVP (1983 and ’91), Ripken won one World Series title with the O’s in 1983 and was inducted into Cooperstown in 2007.

This lot features a 1985-87 Cal Ripken Jr. autographed and game-worn Baltimore Orioles baseball cap. The well-worn MLB New Era tri-color (orange, black and orange) size 7 3/8 baseball cap is sporting the official Oriole logo on the front and includes Ripken’s uniform number “8” on the underside of the brim in black marker. Ripken has also signed the underside of the cap’s brim in blue fine-point marker and added the inscription “Best Wishes.” His signature is strong and rates 7-8/10 in our book.

Autograph is pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
