This super scarce 4-card "Best of the New" set from 1985-86 Star Co. Basketball is unopened in its original, factory-sealed, clear plastic baggie. A second-year Michael Jordan card (appearing like new) is fully visible through the top side of the bag. The bonus subset, reportedly produced in an extremely limited run (only 440 sets by some estimates), also contains early career issues of Patrick Ewing, Akeem Olajuwon (back visible on bottom of bag), and Ralph Sampson. Preserved air-tight since production, these cards have never been opened or touched. Air Jordan's true rookie (#101 XRC) came out of 1984-85 Star's base set and is one of the most coveted cards in the hobby. His other first and second-year cards from Star subsets will only gain more prominence and value over time.
