Presented here is a sharp Gaylord Perry jersey from his 1982 season as a Seattle Mariner. It was late in Perry’s long and storied pitching career and in Seattle he earned the nickname “Ancient Mariner.” Perry still had plenty of skill and moxie to earn his 300th career win as a Mariner in the ’82 campaign.

The jersey’s lower front tail has the Rawlings tag with size 46, as well as a small sewn-in tag that reads “Set 1 1982.”  The white jersey displays the Mariner name and #36 in bold blue and gold lettering on the front, with “Perry” and his usual number 36 on the back. Striking!

Perry has signed the front of the jersey with his name and the inscription of Best Wishes. The autograph is in bold black marker and frankly, could not be nicer, a 10/10 penmanship masterpiece.

There is “double-play” of a LOA from Perry himself (a bonus autograph of the Hall of Famer!) plus a Beckett LOA.
