Offered here is a terrific game-worn rookie uniform from former Detroit Pistons standout guard/forward Kelly Tripucka, who averaged more than 17 points per game in a his 10-year NBA career from 1981-91 that featured two All-Star selections. The gray jersey and matching shorts are the rare "Silverdome" style, adding to the luster of a the set. The silver knit shirt has "PISTONS" across the front in heat-pressed vinyl in red and blue, the same format used for his No. 7 front and back. His name appears across the shoulders on the back in heat-pressed blue vinyl, with considerable chipping of the vinyl on the last four letters of his name. Shirt has red, white and blue elastic panels on the sides and for the yokes and collars; dual Sand-Knit Size 42 tagging appears on the front left of the tail, the same dual tagging that appears on the Size 32 shorts, again with red, white and blue elastic side panels and waistband. Shirt and shorts display solid game use overall and remain in fine, all-original condition, even noting the chipping mentioned above, with the rest of the elements largely as-issued and problem free.
