This pair of spikes was worn by Hall of Famer Johnny Bench, a 14-time All-Star and twice named National League Most Valuable Player. Bench was a key member of The Big Red Machine, which won six division titles, four National League pennants and two World Series championships.

These Size 11 black leather shoes have the white leather highlighted striping down each side, presented here with considerable wear of the white section from the kind of game use expected from arguably the greatest backstop in history. Bench's name is hand written in black marker on the inside near the heel of the left shoe. As noted, the shoes show considerable game use and are problem-free, with black laces intact and without incident. Bench has provided a stunning autograph in silver Sharpie on the outside black leather piece on the left shoe near the laces.

Includes a Letter of Provenance from The Newport Sports Museum.

Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
