This 1980's era Baltimore Orioles game used batting helmet is attributed to one of the greatest switch hitters in baseball history, Eddie Murray, who is one of just six players in history to exceed 500 home runs and 3,000 hits. The Rawlings right flap helmet (for left-handed hitter) is un-cracked and exhibits significant game use. The black and white shell is loaded with surface scratches and blue bat rack marks. The classic Orioles bird logo adorns the forehead. The interior padding is mostly intact and has hardened from perspiration and age. Appropriate "america baseball cap" manufacturer's label indicating size 7-1/2 is affixed to the inner roof. Their trademark "ABC" logo sticker appears on the rear with Murray's No. "33" decals in white. The orange brim also has white "33" decals stamped on the back of the helmet. Murray's No. 33 appears on the bill. Murray has signed the right side of the black shell in 7/10 white/silver paint pen. The helmet comes from a reliable source with a large Orioles collection. Autograph pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
