Larry Kenon was a journeyman ABA and NBA player who played for five different teams throughout his 12-year professional hoops career. Following a five-year stint with the San Antonio Spurs, Kenon signed with the Chicago Bulls for the 1980-81 campaign. While his minutes per game went down in Chicago (28.1 on his first season with the Bulls; he had never averaged fewer than 34.6 previously), he averaged 14.1 points per game during his two-plus seasons in the Windy City.

This lot features the six-foot, nine-inch forward’s white warm-up jacket with the Bulls during his time in Chicago (1980-82). The jacket bears no signs of the manufacturer’s tagging but Kenon’s uniform number 35 appears in red tackle twill outlines in black on the right front breast area, while “CHICAGO” runs down the length of the jacket on the left front side in similar tackle twill fashion. Iconic red collar is intact as are all six original snap buttons down the front. A patch appears to have been removed just above the number 35 on the front. The back of the jacket reads “KENON” across the shoulders with some damage to the applique in of the “N” in KENON.

Includes LOA from MEARS.
