The self proclaimed "straw that stirred the drink," Reggie Jackson was a winner wherever he played. The outspoken, flamboyant, muscular outfielder played in 17 post-season series, earning five World Series rings over a 16-year stretch. He won the home run title playing for 3 different teams and provided some of the most dramatic home runs in baseball history. Dating from his 1980 season in the Bronx this exceptional full uniform is completely original and unaltered. On the left front tail of the road jersey is the "Wilson" manufacturers size 46 tag with wash instructions. Inside the back collar is an embroidered strip tag with "Jackson 80 2". Across the front is "NEW YORK." On the back is the player number "44". All lettering and numbering is done in navy blue on white tackle twill. On the left sleeve is a black armband worn in remembrance of Elston Howard. The jersey is autographed in the collar in blue marker with the date of signing noted as "7/23/82". In the back inside waistband of the road pants is the "Wilson" manufacturers size 35 tag with wash instructions. Adjacent is an embroidered strip tag with "Jackson 80 2 24". The pants are autographed on the front waistband in blue marker with the same "7/23/82" notation. The jersey and pants shows evidence of excellent game-use with no alterations of any kind. The uniform belt is also included.

Accompanied by a comprehensive LOA from MEARS (Graded A10).
