Approximately 94" x 46" yellow and brown flag that reads “PITTSBURGH PIRATES 1979 WORLD CHAMPIONS” in brown tackle twill. This sturdy pennant/flag flew proudly above Three Rivers Stadium in Pittsburgh, as shown in the image from a later Pirates scorecard. Pirates legend Willie Stargell (d. 2001), the MVP of the '79 World Series, the famed "We are Family" squad, has boldly autographed the middle of the flag in black marker. The Stargell signature is strong, rating a 9/10.
