Original Type I photo of Kareem Abdul-Jabbar taken in 1979 as a member of the L.A. Lakers. Posing with hands at hips in his road purples, Cap is giving a stoic gaze commonly associated with his serious, on-court demeanor. The black and white, landscape photo has thicker side borders with some yellow toning on the bottom left corner. The back has a newspaper cut-out of this image later used in the Minnesota Times. Classic shot of the NBA’s all-time scoring leader!
