The 1979 Cincinnati Reds took the National West crown from the Dodgers for the first time since their last days of glory, 3 years prior. The division champs would end up falling against the eventual champion Pittsburgh Pirates of the NLCS. One of the concessions was a prized gift that Reds ownership bestowed upon the players and staff for achieving divisional prowess; a beautiful wrist watch. The Seiko Quartz watch is original and has the Reds logo and "National League West Champions 79" on the face. The watch is currently in working condition but will need to be carefully wound to adjust to the appropriate time and date. There are some scratches on the stainless steel back and some very minimal wear on the visibal top surfaces. Overall in VG condition.
