1977 ROGER MARIS AND GEORGE STEINBRENNER DUAL-SIGNED AND INSCRIBED BASEBALL (RARE COMBO)

This outstanding Regent Semi-Pro League baseball is dual-signed and inscribed by the rare combination of Yankees slugger Roger Maris and longtime team owner George Steinbrenner. Maris' autograph is in 8/10 blue ballpoint, "Best Wishes Roger Maris." Steinbrenner's signature is preceded by "Best of luck from the New York Yankees" with "1977" underneath in faded 5-6/10 black ballpoint. These two could not have crossed paths often with George taking control in 1973, seven years after Maris left the team. Maris signed this ball eight years before he passed away at age 51. The clean white ball with minimal toning comes with a full LOA from JSA (BB41385). Please note that the letter has a clerical error, confirming authenticity for both Maris and Steinbrenner but then counting just one autograph (an easy fix).
