1972 Oakland A's 14K Gold World Series Championship ring presented to former major league outfielder Jimmy Piersall, who handled group sales for the A's in 1972. Top features a 40 point real diamond set atop a Kelly green stone, surrounded by "1972 World Champions". One side has "OAKLAND", "PIERSALL", and the A's logo atop a baseball while the other has banner that reads "WORLD SERIES", "A's 4 REDS 3", "S+S=S", and a facsimile autograph of Charles O. Finley. Inside stamped "JOSTEN 14K" and engraved "Jim Piersall". Comes with the original Jostens box including warranty card. Ring size 11. Weight 32 grams.

1/23/1991 LOA from California Numismatic Investments, Inc. stating the ring originally came directly from the Piersall family.
