The 1971-72 Topps Basketball set offer a groovy trip back to the Disco Era. The key card in the set is the first one, Oscar Robertson's #1 card. The Big O's example features a bright red background that complements his Bucks jersey well. Milwaukee is spelled out in bright yellow psychedelic lettering above Oscar's image. The example offered here was graded NM-MT 8 by PSA. Poor centering hampers many of the cards in this issue, but this example makes up for it with clean edges and excellent eye appeal. This is the most important card for any 1972 Topps basketball set.
