Very rare 1971-72 Topps Basketball 24 count unopened wax box with each and every pack graded and slabbed by GAI. A total of 240 cards direct from the factory, unopened and un-tampered with! No one knows for sure but the probability of finding some pristine looking cards is very high with 19 of the packs slabbed MINT GAI 9. The other 5 are a not too shabby NM-MT+ 8.5 (2) and NM-MT 8 (3). Among the possible cards locked away in these packs are the key Julius Erving Rookie card as well Hall of Famers Wilt Chamberlain, Pete Maravich, Jerry West, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Oscar Robertson, Dave Cowans, Jerry Lucas, Wes Unseld, Nate Thurmond, Connie Hawkins, Dave Bing, Rick Berry, Gail Goodrich, Walt Frazier, Hal Greer, Earl Monroe, Bob Lanier, Len Wilkins, Don Nelson, Dave DeBusschere, John Havlicek, Nate Archibald, Bill Bradley, Willis Reed, Elvin Hayes, Artis Gilmore(Rookie), Dan Issel, and Billy Cunningham. The Rookie card of famed coach Phil Jackson is also a possibility. The empty box itself has multiple creases, mainly on the lid and near one corner but still retains great color and makes a nice display piece.
