If pro basketball had a "Joe DiMaggio" it would be John Havlicek. Havlicek played with an unmatched skill, elegance and class while winning 8 championships with Boston Celtics on his way to the Basketball Hall of Fame. He passed away in 2019 and is considered basketball royalty.
Presented here is Havlicek's special "tall boy" Topps rookie card, looking bright and crisp in PSA encapsulation, grading at a VG-EX 4. PSA is harsh on these tall boy issues, but this "Hondo" example has excellent eye appeal, an under-appreciated gem in the hobby.
