The National League blitzed the American League right from the start of the 1969 mid-summer classic, scoring nine runs over the first four innings to cruise to victory. Johnny Bench hit a homer off the facing of RFK Stadium's second deck and Willie McCovey, who won the Most Valuable Player Award, belted a pair of home runs to lead the NL to a seventh consecutive victory.
Presented here is a high-grade ONL (Giles) baseball signed by 30 members of the 1969 NL All-Star squad. Hall of Famers include Roberto Clemente (6-7/10), Hank Aaron, Tom Seaver, Steve Carlton, Bob Gibson, Tony Perez, Willie Mays, Red Schoendienst (SS) and Johnny Bench. The signatures of McCovey and Marichal have been deemed clubhouse by PSA/DNA. Autographs are mostly 8/10 on a minimally toned, blemish-free ball.
