Bill Bridges was a rugged forward out of Hobbs, NM and the University of Kansas. He had a long NBA career, including outstanding years with the St. Louis/Atlanta Hawks, where he was an NBA All-Star in 1967, 1968 and 1970.
From that era, presented here is Bill's game worn Hawks uniform, circa 1968-70. It is an eye pleasing white creme design with light blue and red lettering and trim. The Rawlings shorts note size 34 on the tag, while the jersey's Rawlings tag notes size 34. The uniform shows evidence of wear and a few minor (blood?) stains, but otherwise is just outstanding!
The current day Hawks sometimes wear this popular design on "throwback" jersey nights, but what we have here is the real deal from over 50 years ago! Wow!
