Beautiful, full color 1967 Kabaya-Leaf Japanese Baseball near set features star players from 6 of the most popular teams - Giants, Tigers, Hawks, Dragons, Lions, and Flyers. Cards in the set come in 2 different designs, including one that very closely resembles the 1959 Topps Baseball issue. Included in the near set are Japanese Hall of Fame stars Sadaharu Oh, Shigeo Nagashima, Katsuya Nomura, Kazuhisa Inao, and Isao Harimoto. Kent Hadley, Jim Baumer, Tony Roig, and Gene Bacque are the only American players in the set. Vast majority of cards appear to be in the EX-MT to NM-MT or better category with a few lesser. Some cards have light toning on the white backs. Great looking issue!
