1967 Jim Gilliam Los Angeles Dodgers game worn home jersey in his first year as a full time coach after 14 years as a Dodger player. He had been a player/coach since 1964. Gilliam was signed by the Dodgers from the Negro Leagues in 1951, coming to the Brooklyn Dodgers in 1953 and winning National League Rookie of the Year honors. Gilliam would remain a coach with the Dodgers until his death in 1978. "Dodgers" in blue felt script and Gilliam's number "19" in red felt across the chest. Large "19" in blue felt on the back. Rawlings size 42, '67 and Tim McAuliffe Quality Athletic Equipment tag sewn in front tail. "Gilliam" in blue script stitched present there also. Totally original jersey displays light wear consistent with being a coach and is in beautiful condition. Outstanding jersey from one of the All-Time Dodger Greats!
