1966 Chicago White Sox pin stripe home flannel jersey game worn by manager Eddie Stanky. Interesting jersey was originally meant for outfielder Mike Hershberger, who was traded away from the Sox in early 1965, and converted for new manager Stanky's use. Large "SOX" logo patch in blue with white trim sewn on front chest. Stanky's number "12" in the same blue with white trim sewn on sleeve and on back. The number on back has been changed to 12 from something else. "STANKY" in dark blue letters across the back top. "Hershberger" name plate sewn in back of collar. Wilson size 40 and "1965-1" tags sewn in front tail. Jersey displays moderates game use.

Includes a Letter of Provenance from the Helms Athletic Foundation/LA84 Collection.
