One of only 2 GEM MINT PSA 10's. Tug McGraw was one of the premier relief pitchers in baseball from the middle 1960's through the early 1980's. He split his 19 years in the majors almost evenly between the New York Mets and Philadelphia Phillies. He will forever be remembered for leaping in the air after striking out Willie Wilson in Game 6 to bring the Phillies their first World Series Championship. In addition McGraw was the winning pitcher in Game 5 McGraw and saved Game 1. He had a 1.17 ERA for the Series. Another home grown Met, Ron Swoboda played the first 6 of his 9 year career with New York. Swoboda will always be remembered by Mets fans for his diving catch in Game 4 of the 1969 World Series to keep the score tied and set up a New York victory. He batted .400 during the Series.
