Freshly graded by PSA, this Pete Rose neatly signed #537 Rookie Stars card from the 1963 Topps set received a perfect 10 autograph grade along with a terrific EX 5 designation for the card itself. With just slight chipping and corner wear plus decent centering, the crisp card has few noticeable flaws. Charlie Hustle has signed vertically in bold blue ink within the yellow background, making it pop beautifully.
With 266 dual-graded examples in the PSA pop report, this Rose signed RC ranks among the top 10% in the hobby. And since we can assume many of those other EX duals did not receive 10 auto grades, it is easily one of the best in the hobby.
Our consignor, who built an amazing collection of vintage autographed cardboard over several decades, got this card signed by Rose in-person at a tradeshow many years ago.
