Presented here is a spectacular artifact commemorating the Los Angeles Dodgers' second World Series Championship in just their sixth season in LA, and their second at their new stadium at Chavez Ravine. With Sandy Koufax showing the form that would ultimately leave him with a plaque in Cooperstown, the Dodgers won the National League pennant by 6.5 games and then did the unthinkable, sweeping their hated rival Yankees in four games in the World Series. It marked the beginning of the club's greatest run in LA, three pennants and two World Series titles in a four-year span extending to the premature retirement of Koufax after the 1966 Fall Classic. Of such a dramatic resume comes this historic team-signed Dodgers baseball from the collection of the team's legendary iconic skipper, Walt Alston.

The Official National League (Warren C. Giles) baseball claims 30 blazing autographs that have been carefully applied in a uniform but slightly bleeding blue ballpoint, almost all uncommonly bold and vivid in strength. The primarily snow white ball rates 8-9/10 and the signatures also appear around 8-9, with some more blurry than others. The roster of signers includes: Alston and fellow Hall of Famer Leo Durocher on the sweet spot, Sandy Koufax (HOF), Don Drysdale (HOF), Maury Wills (HOF), Frank Howard, Ron Fairly, Tommy Davis, Willie Davis, Roseboro, Moon, Perranoski, Becker, Camilli, Richert, Calmus, Miller, Walls, Reiser, Ferrara, McMullen and others. Comes with a Letter of Authenticity from the Walter Alston Collection. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
