This home run total broke Babe Ruth’s record of 60 homers in a season, a record once thought unbreakable. The card features an image of Maris following through on his mighty swing. The PSA MINT 9 example is virtually flawless, with beautiful coloring, sharp corners and snowy-white borders. The only thing keeping it from a perfect Gem Mint 10 is centering ever-so-slightly off.
