In the 1961 season Dodger Sandy Koufax would make some pitching adjustments and start on his path to greatness, winning 18 games for Los Angeles, and being named an N.L. All-Star for the very first time. This was just a hint of Cy Youngs, no-hitters and World Series titles to come.
There is no adjustment needed for this card, as only two in the universe rate higher than this PSA MINT 9. Very few cards are as eye pleasing as this one, with the left hander looking absolutely regal in his Dodger blue. A classic image from Sandy's breakthrough season. Wow!
