High grade 1961 Fleer basketball cards are increasingly hard to come by. This example from hall of famer Sam Jones displays beautifully with a richly colorful red and orange backdrop. The Celtics guard's black and white picture exhibits with exceptional clarity and is surrounded by snow white borders and perfect end points. The reverse is GEM MINT and the only thing holding this specimen back from GEM MINT status is the less than perfect centering. This card is one of twenty five in MINT and there are only three graded higher according to PSA's population report as of today.
