Just when one Boston legend was retiring, another stepped up to take his place. Carl Yastrzemski’s 1960 Topps rookie card ushered in a two decade career that would take Red Sox fans from the Ted Williams era on into the space age. This example of Yaz’s rookie card has sharp, clean white borders with strong color throughout. There is what appears to be a slight printing flaw along the top portion of the front, but the card displays wonderfully. The Red Sox legend has signed the card in blue marker, taking this card to the next level. Population reports show only 17 that carry the dual PSA NM 7 - PSA/DNA 9 Auto grade, and only three have been graded higher than this example.
